yeah mang, that was me, i may give ya some hell on the court, but its all in good fun..haha

amazed me to see how many of the little kids came closer to sinking the shot than some of the grownups..

and LBballa, i guess you could say that, they were wayyyyyy off

the ones i remember for the all tourney team were:

Sloan from clintwood
adkins from coeburn
Filip from wise
drew justice from castlewood
those are about all i can remember

Re: Tournament Scores

McAmis is without a doubt the most intense coach I've ever seen, but I didn't see or hear anything from him that would warrant the technical foul.

Re: Tournament Scores

Reading the paper and it said that Castlewood had two more fouls than Wise, so I guess that you Indian idiots don't know what you are talking about. Also, I can see why Scott Co. Schools have three of the four best rankins in SOL scores. Some of the grammer and punctuation on here "SUCKS" as you say.

Council boys claim Coal Classic title
BY ANNE MARIE BROOKS
BRISTOL HERALD COURIER
Dec 31, 4:00 AM EST

Tri Cities Yellow Pages

APPALACHIA ? The Council Cobras clinched the Coal Classic Tournament at Appalachia with a 53-47 win over Appalachia Friday night.

Both teams went 2-1 in the tournament, but Council turned a very close game into an easy win with less than two minutes left in the game.

Caleb Epling broke a 44-44 tie with a basket, followed by a layup from Jan Jindra and two successful free throws from Matt Murphy to put the Cobras in an enviable position.

"The first two nights we had no intensity," Council coach Neil Rasnake said. "But we came out tonight with it."

D.J. Barton led scoring with 21 points, while Wade Jackson scored 13.

"Applachia is a strong ballclub," Rasnake said. "They killed us on the offensive glass. I'm pleased with the win."

The Bulldogs were led by Adam Kiser's 15 points. Brian Baber was the only other Bulldog to score double digits.

Council's Barton, Justin Fuller and Caleb Epling were named to the all-tournament team, along with Appalachia's Kiser, Baber and Josh Scott.
